One Rug.One Weaver.Yours Forever.
Connecting design-conscious buyers directly with the Amazigh women of the Atlas Mountains. 100% of the cooperative's asking price goes directly to them.

Rooted in the peaks of the Atlas.
Each rug is geographically distinct. The thick piles of Beni Ourain originated to protect against Middle Atlas snows, while the flat Kilim weaves were born from the nomadic necessity of the pre-Saharan plains. We travel directly to these isolated cooperatives.

Woven in geological time.
There are no factories. No industrial looms. Every Azarbi rug is entirely made by hand in the weaver's own home or local cooperative.
Sourcing the Wool
The foundation of every piece is live-shorn wool from high-altitude Atlas sheep. Rich in lanolin, it provides natural stain resistance and incredible softness.
Dyeing & Spinning
Depending on the rug, wool is either left entirely undyed, or saturated with native botanical extracts like saffron, madder root, and indigo.
Knotting on the Loom
Using techniques passed down matrilineally, the weavers sit at upright looms for weeks, tying up to 100,000 individual knots for a single rug.
