Choosing the right rug size transforms a room. Use our room-by-room guide to find the perfect dimensions for your space.
Quick Measure Trick
Use painter's tape or newspaper to outline the rug dimensions on your floor before ordering. Live with the outline for a day to see how it feels in the space. It's the simplest way to confirm the perfect size.
Room-by-Room Sizing
Living Room
💡 Leave 45–60 cm of floor visible between the rug edge and the wall for a balanced look.
Bedroom
💡 Position the rug to extend at least 60 cm beyond the foot of the bed for a luxurious step-out.
Dining Room
💡 The rug should extend at least 75 cm beyond the table edge so chairs remain on the rug when in use.
Entryway & Hall
💡 Hall runners should be roughly 30 cm narrower than the hallway and leave equal space on both sides.
